#Prácticasdeloinvisible
2020 / Instant composition
#Practicasdeloinvisible is a platform for instant composition practices that emerged during the creative process of Silver Ballad. It is both a creative laboratory and a shared space of freedom with fellow creators, friends, artists and inspiring women. These practices arise from encounters between choreographers, dancers, writers, audiovisual artists and dance theorists. They are the result of shared actions and reflections on the invisibility of women—not only thinking about it, but above all embodying it and placing the body at the centre of the process. #Practicasdeloinvisible is also a performance framework: a meeting place with audiences, a mutable, versatile and evolving piece based on instant composition and creative impulses. It is an independent project with a life of its own, running parallel to the creative process of Silver Ballad.

#Practicasdeloinvisible Fanzine Clàudia Barberà uses her body to shape this fanzine through the practice of documentation. Because documenting means observing, discerning and organising. It means telling a story, leaving a written, drawn or recorded trace of everything that would otherwise remain known only to those who experienced it. To document is to preserve what has been thought, danced and spoken. It is an invitation to become part of the process.
To give structure to this narrative, Carolina Martínez wrote My Body, Our Bodies, Like a Meadow in Chiaroscuro, a text that emerges both from her engagement with the materials developed throughout the #Practicasdeloinvisible project and from the sensory impressions these materials generated through her own experience. The resulting text—embodied and constantly shifting—is composed of a series of scenes, an introduction and a conclusion, seeking to create a fragmented narrative in dialogue with other bodies.
Laura Alcalà Freudenthal coordinated its creation, writing and compiling texts by other women whose work orbits the creative process of Silver Ballad and its #Practicasdeloinvisible, developed by LaSúbita.
Clàudia Barberà Miró is a communication specialist, audiovisual educator and illustrator. Sometimes she films, sometimes she paints, and sometimes she writes.
Carolina Martínez-López is a self-described "poetist", holding a PhD in Fine Arts and working as a lecturer and researcher in performance and film studies.
Produced by LaSúbita in collaboration with Sismògraf Olot.
